LD Herrera, CEO & President

LD Herrera is President and CEO of Expert Approach, Inc., an internet marketing and technology solutions firm based in Alexandria, VA.  He brings nearly 20 years of technology consulting experience with a history of leadership roles in many industries including insurance, transportation, printing, and human resources.  Since 1999, Mr. Herrera has enjoyed managing his own business while helping with the leaders of other small businesses and non-profit organizations achieve their goals.

Mr. Herrera began his formal education at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA where he was inspired to pursue Information Technology as a career.  While technology implementation has been the key focus for Mr. Herrera throughout his career, for the past three years, internet marketing has been taken his attention and is now the primary focus of his business expansion efforts.

In September 2010, Expert Approach's CEO LD Herrera was appointed as an Executive Vice President in the Latinos in Information Sciences and Technologies Association (LISTA).  Through his connections in Washington, DC, he intends to live up to his appointment and support the mission of LISTA: to educate, motivate and empower the Latino Community with the use of technology and bring together a network of Hispanic technology and communications professionals who will be able to assist and engage each other whenever necessary.

Mr. Herrera is an active member of the American Hispanic Advertising Association (AHAA), the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (MHCC), and is technology advisor for the National Association of Hispanic Publications (NAHP) in Washington DC.  He is also one of three speakers at the 2010 Somos Awards Small Business Conference celebrating Hispanic contributions in the Washington DC metropolitan area.
