For decades, LD Herrera has been providing IT services to businesses large and small. Services often included network, server, and device configurations as well as a variety of database and website system developments. His first interaction with viruses started back in 1990 at Carnegie Mellon University. Since then, all services provided to his clients included some level of protection including anti-virus systems, email filtering, backup systems, user education, and properly hardened websites.
Back in late 2018, LD saw that cybersecurity was an area of technology that he could learn more about. It was an area of knowledge that would be beneficial to his clients. He took it upon himself to begin his formal education in Cybersecurity.
After completing a 36 credit hour program at the University of Maryland Global Campus with a 4.0 GPA, EA CEO LD Herrera was awarded the degree of Master of Science in Cybersecurity Technology.
